Last Minute Changes

Well, like all good journeys, the unexpected should be expected.  We now plan to leave a week earlier to cater for unforseen work commitments.  The kids seemed pretty upset to be getting out of an extra week of school...At least the dancing and singing was mournfully loud and raucous.

This was our shakedown trip to Jurien Bay in March.  Figured out our average mileage on the Prado, how to better store things and which cupboard has the best sound proofing for when the kids play up too much....(Only Joking!)

Counting down

The countdown has begun. 6 weeks to go until our epic adventure begins. 106 days of caravanning around Australia with 3 kids under 10.
We start in Perth and travel north, clockwise around the country to take in forests, deserts and snowfields.
Our 2008 Toyota Prado Turbo Diesel 4WD will tow our 2010 Jayco Expanda 18ft van.
The kids will miss a term of school but will gain so much in life experience. We are all incredibly excited!
